Currently,excursiongamblingboatsandfloatingfacilitiesmayofferlotteries,giftenterprises,and
gamesofchanceupontheMississippiandMissouriRiversonly,andnoadditionalexcursion
gamblingboatlicensesmaybeauthorizedbytheMissouriGamingCommission.
Uponvoterapproval,thisproposedConstitutionalamendmentchangestheConstitutionof
Missouritoallowlotteries,giftenterprises,andgamesofchancetobeconductedonexcursion
gamblingboatsandfloatingfacilitieslicensedbytheCommissionuponportionsoftheOsageRiver
fromtheMissouriRivertotheBagnellDamasspecifiedintheHouseJointResolution.Further,the
Commissionshallissueoneexcursiongamblingboatlicenseinadditiontothoselicensesthathave
beenauthorizedpriortoJanuary1,2023.
