ThisbillprovidesthatbeginningJuly1,2025,anyMissouri
driver'slicenseornondriver'slicenseissuedtoapersonwhoisa
citizenoftheUnitedStates,includingnaturalizedcitizens,will
haveadistinguishing markonthefrontofthelicensethat
specifiesthatthelicenseholderisacitizenoftheUnited
States.TheDepartmentofRevenueshallcoordinatewiththeUnited
StatesDepartmentofStatetoestablishcriteriaforestablishing
citizenstatusandaprocedureforverifyingthatstatus.
ThebillalsoprovidesthatbeginningJuly1,2031,theonly
nonexpiredMissouridriver'slicenseornonexpiredornonexpiring
Missourinondriver’slicensesthatwillbeacceptedasaformof
personalphotoidentification inordertoestablishavoter’s
qualificationtovotemusthaveaUnitedStatescitizen
distinguishing markuponit.
