1212 160.522.1.Thedepartmentofelementaryandsecondaryeducationshallproduceor

1515 4state.Thereportcardshallbedesignedtosatisfystateandfederalrequirementsforthe

2020 9 2.Thedepartmentofelementaryandsecondaryeducationshalldevelopastandard
2121 10formfortheschoolaccountabilityreportcard.Theinformationreportedshallinclude,butnot
2222 11belimitedto,thedistrict'smostrecentaccreditationrating,enrollment,ratesofpupil
2323 12attendance,highschooldropoutrateandgraduationrate,thenumberandrateofsuspensions

4242 30 4.Thereportcardshallidentifyeachschoolorattendancecenterthathasbeen

4444 32identifyattendancecentersthathavebeencategorizedunderfederallawasneeding
4545 33improvementorrequiringspecificschoolimprovementstrategies.
4646 34 5.Thereportcardshallnotlimitordiscourageothermethodsofpublicreportingand
4747 35accountabilitybylocalschooldistricts.Districtsshallprovideinformationincludedinthe
4848 36reportcardtoparents,communitymembers,theprintandbroadcastnewsmedia,and
4949 37legislatorsbyDecemberfirstannuallyorassoonthereafterastheinformationisavailableto
5050 38thedistrict,givingpreferencetomethodsthatincorporatethereportingintosubstantive
5151 39officialcommunicationssuchasstudentreportcards.Theschooldistrictshallprovidea
5252 40printedcopyofthedistrict-levelorschool-levelreportcardtoanypatronuponrequestand
5353 41shallmakereasonableeffortstosupplybusinessessuchas,butnotlimitedto,realestateand
5454 42employmentfirmswithcopiesorotherinformationaboutthereportssothatparentsand

5656 44 6.Forpurposesofcompletinganddistributingtheannualreportcardasprescribedin
5757 45thissection,aschooldistrictmayincludethedatafromacharterschoollocatedwithinsuch
5858 46schooldistrict,providedthelocalboardofeducationorspecialadministrativeboardforsuch
