Uponvoterapproval,thisconstitutional amendmentprohibits abortions,exceptincasesofmedicalemergencies,fetalanomalies, rape,orincest.Inthecaseofabortionsperformedorinduced becauseofrapeorincest,theabortionmaybeperformedorinduced nolaterthan12weeksgestationalageoftheunbornchild. Theamendmentalsoprohibitspublicfundsfrombeingusedtopay forabortions;prohibitstheuseofsurgeries,hormones,ordrugs toassistachildwithagendertransition;specifieswhichcircuit courtchallengesshallbebroughtto;andholdsthatanypersonwho intentionallyornegligentlycausesdamagetoanotherperson relatingtotheprovisionofreproductivehealthcareorthe performanceorinducementofanabortionisliablefordamagesand subjecttosuspensionorrevocationofhisorhermedicallicense. Underthisconstitutional amendment,awoman'srightto reproductivefreedomincludestherighttohealthcareincasesof miscarriages,ectopicpregnancies,andothermedicalemergencies.
