AN ACT
Relating to the conveyance of certain state property.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Missouri, as follows:
Section 1. 1. The governor is hereby authorized and 1
empowered to sell, transfer, grant, convey, remise, release, 2
and forever quitclaim all interest of the state of Missouri 3
in property located in the County of Jackson, Missouri, to 4
the state highways and transportation commission. The real 5
property to be conveyed is a tract of land being a portion 6
of the tract described in the warranty deed, recorded in 7
book 656, at page 111, at the Jackson County, Missouri 8
recorder of deeds office and located in part of the 9
southwest quarter of the northeast quarter of section 8, 10
township 47 north, range 31 west in the city of Lee's 11
Summit, Jackson County, Missouri and being more -particularly 12
described as follows: 13
Commencing at the southeast corner of the 14
southwest quarter of the northeast quarter of 15
said section 8, thence along the east line of 16
said southeast quarter, nor th 02°18'16" east, 17
556.74 feet; thence leaving said east line, 18
north 87°49'52" west, 61.56 feet, to a point on 19
the north line of said tract, and being a point 20
on the west right-of-way line of north highway 21
291, the point of beginning; 22 SB 247 2
Thence from the point of beginning, along said 23
west right-of-way line, south 03°13'16" west, 24
165.09 feet, to a point on the northerly right - 25
of-way line of highway 50, as now established; 26
thence along said northerly right -of-way line, 27
south 43°45'38" west, 35.96 feet; thence leaving 28
said northerly right -of-way line, along a non - 29
tangent curve to the right, having a radius of 30
3647.77 feet, an arc length of 47.96 feet, a 31
chord bearing of north 06°05'02" east, and a 32
chord length of 47.96 feet; thence along a non - 33
tangent line to the last described curve, north 34
06°06'36" east, 43.60 feet; thence along a non - 35
tangent curve to the left, having a radius of 36
162.00 feet, an arc length of 99.35 feet, a 37
chord bearing of north 70°59'36" west, and a 38
chord length of 97.80 fee t; thence north 39
01°12'54" east, 72.29 feet, to a point on the 40
north line of said tract; thence along the north 41
line of said tract, south 87°49'52" east, 115.44 42
feet, to the point of beginning and contains 43
11,237 square feet, more or less. 44
2. The office of administration and the state highways 45
and transportation commission shall set the terms and 46
conditions for the conveyance, including the consideration, 47
except that such consideration shall not exceed one dollar. 48
Such terms and conditions ma y include, but are not limited 49
to, the number of appraisals required, and the time, place, 50
and terms of the conveyance. 51
3. The attorney general shall approve the form of the 52

radius of 3647.77 feet, an arc length of 47.96 34
feet, a chord bearing of south 06°05'02" west, a 35
chord length of 47.96 feet to a point on the 36
northerly right-of-way line of highway 50, as 37
now established; thence along said northerly 38
right-of-way line, the following 4 calls and 39
distances; thence south 43°45'38" west, 109.45 40
feet; thence south 47°03'17" west, 88.50 feet; 41
thence along a tangent curve to the right, 42
having a radius of 418.31 feet, an arc length of 43
228.27 feet, a chord bearing of south 62°41'17" 44
west, and a chord length of 225.45 feet; thence 45
along a nontangent to the last described curve, 46
south 81°35'49" west, 75.63 feet, to a point on 47
the west line of said tract; thence along the 48
west line of said tract, north 02°18'31" east, 49
461.34 feet, to the northwest corner of said 50
tract; thence along the north line of said 51
tract, south 87°49'52" east, 316.04 feet, to the 52
point of beginning and contains 142.0 42 square 53
feet, more or less. 54
2. The office of administration and the state highways 55
