This bill amends provisions related to the Licensed Professional Counselors Interstate Compact to create a licensing pathway for
marriage and family therapists from other states. Additional work would be required by the Department of Health and Human Services
(DHHS) within Program 178 – Professional Licensure however the costs would be recouped through newly assessed fees.

Applicants would be subject to criminal background check by Nebraska State Patrol. The current rate for a criminal background check
by fingerprinting is $45.25. If required, the fee would be paid by the applicant. There is no fiscal impact to NSP.

AM 866 in cludes provisions of LB 630 which expands the scope of practice of the Occupational Therapy Practice Act. The changes
would necessitate modifications to the Occupational Licensure database which is projected to have minimal fiscal impact.

AM 947 includes amended provisions of LB 274 which would increase the minimum liability coverage necessary for child care licensing
which does not have a fiscal impact on DHHS.
