AN ACT making appropriations to the Peace Officers’ Standards and Training Commission for the replacement of certain systems, furniture, vehicles and computer hardware and associated software; and providing other matters properly relating thereto. EXPLANATION – Matter in bolded italics is new; matter between brackets [omitted material] is material to be omitted. THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEMBLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. There is hereby appropriated from the State General Fund to the Peace Officers’ Standards and Training Commission the sum of $2,079 for the replacement of a portable recording system. Sec. 2. There is hereby appropriated from the State General Fund to the Peace Officers’ Standards and Training Commission the sum of $120,500 for the replacement of an access control system for facilities. Sec. 3. There is hereby appropriated from the State General Fund to the Peace Officers’ Standards and Training Commission the sum of $55,782 for the replacement of office furniture. Sec. 4. There is hereby appropriated from the State General Fund to the Peace Officers’ Standards and Training Commission the sum of $19,250 for the replacement of vehicles. Sec. 5. There is hereby appropriated from the State General Fund to the Peace Officers’ Standards and Training Commission the sum of $6,486 for the replacement of computer hardware and associated software. Sec. 6. Any remaining balance of the appropriations made by sections 1 to 5, inclusive, of this act must not be committed for expenditure after June 30, 2025, by the entity to which the appropriation is made or any entity to which money from the appropriation is granted or otherwise transferred in any manner, and any portion of the appropriated money remaining must not be spent for any purpose after September 19, 2025, by either the entity to which the money was appropriated or the entity to which the money was subsequently granted or transferred, and must be reverted to the State General Fund on or before September 19, 2025.
