Authorizes the county of Cattaraugus assessor to accept an application for a real property tax exemption from Olean Community Theatre, Inc. for all of the 2021-2022 school taxes and all of the 2022 general taxes.
Establishes the retail worker safety act requiring retail worker employers to develop and implement programs to prevent workplace violence; directs the department of labor to produce a model workplace violence prevention training program; requires employers to provide training on such programs; requires the installation of panic buttons at certain workplaces or wearable or mobile phone-based panic buttons to be provided.
Provides for the automatic issuance of identification cards for any person whose driver's license or learner's permit is expired, suspended, revoked or surrendered.
Provides the carrier or employer a credit against permanent partial disability benefits for temporary partial disability payments made in excess of 130 weeks.
Establishes the crime of unlawful use of violence or intimidation in pursuit of political aims; includes blocking of a public road, bridge, transportation facility or tunnel as when, acting with the intent to cause the deliberate blocking of every class of a public road, bridge, transportation facility or tunnel that interferes with traffic and public safety; makes such crime a class A misdemeanor.
Prohibits the sale of vape products that resemble school supplies, toys, or are packaged or advertised in any way to appeal to or target minors or the youth population.
Requires each high school senior to complete the FAFSA, an application for TAP, or a waiver form; requires schools to report data on the rates of submission of FAFSA and TAP applications.
Modifies what qualifies as an original equipment manufacturer and the manufacture date when hardware must comply with the right to repair law; repeals certain limitations on the right to repair law.
Authorizes funding to local government entities from the urban development corporation through the electric generation facility cessation mitigation fund for an additional three years.
Provides that certain communications between a claimant's attorney or representative and an injured employee's treating provider or a claimant's medical consultant are not improper influence or an attempt to improperly influence.
Authorizes the Mount Olive Pentecostal Church of Faith, Inc. to file an application for retroactive real property tax exemption for the 2019--2020 assessment roll.
Designates a portion of the state highway system as the "Boston Volunteer Firefighters David Hadley, Eugene Schmitt, Dana Stevens and Donald Pfarner Memorial Bridge".
