Section 2 of chapter 579 of the laws of 2004, amending the 2 tax law relating to authorizing the county of Genesee to impose a county 3 recording tax on obligation secured by a mortgage on real property, as 4 amended by section 1 of item F of subpart E of part XXX of chapter 58 of 5 the laws of 2020, is amended to read as follows: 6 § 2. This act shall take effect on the thirtieth day after it shall 7 have become a law; and shall expire on November 1, [2023] 2025, when 8 upon such date the provisions of this act shall be deemed repealed. 9 § 2.
