SKOUFIS -- read twice and ordered printed, and when printed to be committed to the Committee on Education -- committee discharged, bill amended, ordered reprinted as amended and recommitted to said committee AN ACT relating to approving certain employee benefit costs for trans- portation employees for the Goshen Central school district; and making an appropriation therefor The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem- bly, do enact as follows: 1 Section 1. The commissioner of education is hereby directed to consid- 2 er the cost of employee benefits for transportation employees in the 3 2019--2020 school year, on file as of November 15, 2021, as approved 4 costs of the Goshen Central School District. 5 § 2. The sum of five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000), or so much 6 thereof as may be necessary, is hereby appropriated out of any moneys in 7 the state treasury in the general fund to the credit of the local 8 assistance account, not otherwise appropriated, and made immediately 9 available, to the department of education for purposes of reimbursing 10 the Goshen Central School District in an amount equal to funds recovered 11 for costs approved under section one of this act. 12 § 3.
