Redevelopment Associ- ates The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem- bly, do enact as follows: 1 Section 1. Upon approval by the City 14 Council of the City of Troy and execution by all parties, the assessor 15 of the City of Troy may grant exemption from all taxation and make 16 appropriate corrections to the applicable rolls. Upon the granting of 17 exemption and such organization therefore shall have paid any tax with 18 respect to the applicable rolls, the governing body or tax department 19 may, in its sole discretion, provide for the refund of those taxes paid 20 and cancel any taxes, fines, penalties, interest, or tax liens remaining 21 unpaid. 22 § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
