Enacts "Brendon's law" to prohibit participation, including spectators within two hundred feet, of any motor vehicle speed contest, sideshow and street takeovers; authorizes seizure and forfeiture.
Requires covered entities report to the department of health regarding certain 340B drug discounts and what percentage of patients benefit from such discounts.
Enacts the "motor carrier safety compliance requirement act"; requires companies contracting with motor carriers to verify compliance with safety regulations, maintain proper oversight, and ensure adherence to established safety practices.
Establishes the reentry assistance program; provides for eligible incarcerated individuals to receive a monthly stipend upon release from a state correctional facility; makes an appropriation of $25,000,000.
Provides privacy protections for public benefits recipients regarding disclosure or inquiry about immigration status and eligibility; provides penalties for employees of state or local agencies that knowingly violate such provisions; directs OTDA to promulgate rules and regulations and submit an annual report regarding compliance with, and complaints regarding, violations of such provisions.
Prohibits the siting and construction of battery energy storage systems and related facilities, systems, infrastructure, and substations of any scale and possessing any storage capacity in assembly district 64; provides for the repeal of such provisions upon expiration thereof.
Requires the consumer protection division to establish a process by which any state agency or third party, pursuant to an interagency agreement with the division for the purposes of fraud prevention, identity verification, and ensuring the integrity or security of individual identities, to grant access to verify New York resident identities via a secure comparison process against state systems.
