Enacts the "facial recognition technology study act" to study privacy concerns and potential regulatory approaches to the development of facial recognition technology.
Prohibits regional off-track betting corporations from providing items of value exceeding fifteen dollars to any board member, officer, or employee of the corporation, any contractor, subcontractor, consultant, or other agent of the corporation, or any spouse, child, sibling or parent of such persons; adds reporting requirements for regional off-track betting corporations.
Prohibits off-track betting corporation vehicles from being used as take-home vehicles by board members, officers, employees, contractors, subcontractors, consultants, or agents of such corporation or by certain family members of such individuals; provides an exception therefor.
Authorizes the village of Bloomingburg to enter into a contract to sell or pledge as collateral for a loan some or all of the delinquent liens held by such city to a private party or engage a private party.
Exempts certain property located in the city of Glens Falls, county of Warren, from the prohibition of alcohol sales within two hundred feet of a building occupied as a church, synagogue or other place of worship.
Provides an exemption for certain parcels of land from the licensing restrictions prohibiting manufacturers, wholesalers and retailers of alcoholic beverages from sharing an interest in a licensed premises or to sell at retail for consumption on the premises; provides for the repeal of certain provisions upon expiration thereof.
Provides a heart disease presumption for members employed by the Triborough bridge and tunnel authority as a bridge and tunnel officer, sergeant or lieutenant in a non-managerial position.
Dedicates all that portion of the state highway system constituting bridge number 1007069, located on Union Avenue, state route 9P, crossing interstate 87 in the city of Saratoga Springs, county of Saratoga, to Assembly Member Bobby D'Andrea.
Provides for the adjustment of stipends of certain incumbents in the state university of New York and designating moneys therefor; continues a doctoral program recruitment and retention enhancement fund; continues work-life services and pre-tax programs; continues a professional development committee; continues a comprehensive college graduate program recruitment and retention fund; continues a fee mitigation fund; continues a downstate location fund; continues a joint labor management advisory board; continues an accidental death benefit; makes an appropriation therefor.
Relates to terms and conditions of employment for members of the collective negotiating unit consisting of investigators, senior investigators, and investigative specialists in the division of state police; relates to the employee benefit fund for members of such unit; makes an appropriation therefor; repeals certain provisions of law relating thereto.
Relates to age and service eligibility requirements for ordinary retirement for members of the unified court system; restores 55/30 for all members; reduces the retirement age from 63 to 62.
