House Resolution Expressing Deepest Condolences On The Passing Of John Garofalo, Sr.
Commends the Honorable Raymond E. Garofalo and expresses enduring gratitude for his outstanding contributions to the parishes of Orleans, Plaquemines, and St. Bernard and the state of Louisiana, particularly during his tenure as a distinguished member of the Louisiana House of Representatives
Provides with respect to the availability of jury trials in certain civil matters
Provides relative to clerks of court as ex officio recorders
Provides relative to suspension or extension of prescription, peremption, and certain legal deadlines
Authorizes the issuance of an alternative oyster culture permit to a person holding an oyster lease on a privately owned water bottom
Provides for additional penalties for unauthorized taking of oysters from leased acreage
Provides for the execution of electronic notarial acts
