28165 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:

30166 SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law not to be
31167 codified in the Oklahoma Statutes reads as follows:

33168 The right of Oklahoman s to engage in agritourism activities is
34169 ingrained in the historical fabric of the State of O klahoma.
35170 Therefore, it is the intent of the L egislature to preserve such
36171 activities for future generations of Oklahoman s.

38172 SECTION 2. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codi fied
39173 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 5 -17a of Title 2, unless there
40174 is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:

42175 A. Except as otherwise provided in this subsection, the rights
43176 of Oklahomans to engage in agritourism activities shall not be

45204 subdivision. Agritourism activities shall only be engaged in a
46-lawful manner pursuant to the Oklahoma Horse Racing Act and in ENR. H. B. NO. 1620 Page 2
205+lawful manner, pursuant to the Oklahoma Horse Racing Act and in
47206 compliance with health and safety zoning requirements, as well as
48207 health and safety regulations, by the state and local governments.

50208 B. "Agritourism activities" as used in this section means
51-utilizing livestock or poultry for entertainment or educational
52-purposes. This shall include horseback riding, horse -drawn carriage
53-rides, livestock and poultry shows, petting farms, rodeos,
54-activities that historically involved the utilization of working
55-animals and other substantially similar activities.

57-C. "Agritourism activities" as used in this section shall not
