HOUSE BILL 1800 By: Miller
AS INTRODUCED
An Act relating to higher education; establishing
tuition and fee waiver s for Oklahoma National Guard
members; authorizing promulgation o f rules; providing
for codification; and providing an effective date.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 32 49 of Title 70, unless there
is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
A. Every institution within The Oklahoma State System of Higher
Education shall waive all applicable tuition and fees for any
undergraduate courses of study pursued by a member of the Oklahoma
National Guard enrolled in the institution.
B. The Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education may
promulgate rules to implement the provisions of this section.

SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2021.
