5053 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
5154 SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
5255 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 3311.19 of Title 70, unless
5356 there is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
5457 A. The Council on Law Enforcement Education and Training may
5558 offer training that instructs a p eace officer how to alert a school
5659 district or charter school when a student enrolled at the school
5760 district or charter school has been identified at the scene of a
5861 traumatic event or an event that involved a response from an
5962 emergency 9-1-1 service. The peace officer may only release the
6063 name and birth date of the student directly to the school district
6164 or charter school and state that the student was present at the

9094 B. As used in subsection A of this section, "student" means a
9195 minor child or a person who has reached eighteen (18) years of age

9397 SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2021.
