2655 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STAT E OF OKLAHOMA:

2856 SECTION 1. AMENDATORY 60 O.S. 2011, Section 674.1, is
2957 amended to read as follows:
58+Section 674.1. A. No person who:
59+1. informs Informs a potential claimant of any unclaimed funds
60+or other property, tangible or int angible, held pursuant to the
61+Uniform Disposition of Unclai med Property Act that such claimant may
62+be entitled to claim such unclaimed property; or
63+2. files Files a claim for any funds or other property,

4193 shall contract for or receive from the cl aimant, for services, an
4294 amount that exceeds twenty -five percent (25%) of the value of the
4395 funds or property recovered.

50100 In the event that the claimant of such funds or property is
51101 deceased and did not personally agree to the fee in writing, a fee

53103 devisee or legatee that has affirmatively agreed to that fee in

56105 B. The provisions of this section shall apply to contracts
57106 executed on or after July 1, 1990 November 1, 2021.
