55+relates to cameras furnished to appointed motor
56+license agents; providing for codification; and
57+providing an effective date.

4963 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE O F THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
5064 SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
5165 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 1140.2 of Title 47, unless there
5266 is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
5367 A. The Department of Publ ic Safety may require motor license
5468 agents to purchase cameras from the Department for the motor license
55-agent's use in conducting business. The Department is authorized to
56-promulgate any rules necessary to effectuate the p rovisions of this
57-subsection.
58-B. If motor license agents purchase a camera from the
59-Department, the motor license agents shall be responsible for
60-obtaining, at their own expense, Internet services that operate at
69+agent’s use in conducting business. The Department is authorized to

99+B. If motor license agents purchase a camera from the
100+Department, the motor license agents shall be responsible for
101+obtaining, at their own expense, Internet services that operate at
87102 adequate transmission speeds to allow the agents to effectively
88103 transact business and transmit data to and from the agency.
89104 SECTION 2. REPEALER 47 O.S. 2011, Section 1140.1, as
90105 amended by Section 1, Chapter 175, O.S.L. 2017 (47 O.S. Supp. 2020,
91106 Section 1140.1), is hereby repealed.
92107 SECTION 3. This act shall become effective November 1, 2021.
