purchase cameras from the Department of Public

BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA: 
SECTION 1.     NEW LAW     A new section of law to be codified 
in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 1140.2 of Title 47, unless there 
is created a duplication in numbering, reads as fol lows: 
A.  The Department of Public Safety may require motor license 
agents to purchase cameras from the Departm ent for the motor license 
agent's use in conducting business.  The Department is authorized to 
promulgate any rules necessary to effectuate the p rovisions of this 
subsection. 
B.  If motor license agents purchase a camera from the 
Department, the motor license agents shall be responsible for 
obtaining, at their own expense, Internet services that operate at

adequate transmission speeds to allow the agents to effectively 
transact business and transmit data to and from the agency. 
SECTION 2.     REPEALER     47 O.S. 2011, Section 1140.1, as 
amended by Section 1, Chapter 175, O.S.L. 2017 (47 O.S. Supp. 2020, 
Section 1140.1), is hereby re pealed. 
SECTION 3.  This act shall become effective November 1, 2021.
