46	40		An Act relating to crimes and punishments; amending
47	41		21 O.S. 2011, Section 1112, which relates to age
48	42		limitations for convictions of rape; increasing age
49	43		limitation; and providing an effective date .

54	48		BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
55	49		SECTION 1. AMENDATORY 21 O.S. 2011, Section 1112, is
56	50		amended to read as follows:
57	51		Section 1112. No perso n can be convicted of rape or rape by
58	52		instrumentation on account of an act of sexual intercourse with
59	53		anyone over the age of fourteen (14) sixteen (16) years, with his or
60	54		her consent, unless such person was over the age of eighteen (18)
61	55		years at the time of such act.
62	56		SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2021.
