5053 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
5154 SECTION 1. AMENDATORY 47 O.S. 2021, Section 596.11, is
5255 amended to read as follows:
5356 Section 596.11 A. A dealer shall not do any of the following:
5457 1. If a transient c ustomer requests service work on a
5558 recreational vehicle of a line -make that the dealer is authorized to
5659 display and sell, fail to perform any warranty service work
5760 authorized by a warrantor in a reasonably competent a nd timely
5861 manner if failure to make suc h repairs would result in a safety
5962 related issue or might render the recreational vehicle unusable;
6063 2. Make a fraudulent warranty claim to a warranto r; or
6164 3. Misrepresent the terms of any warranty; or
62-4. Charge consumers predelivery inspection (PD I) fees.

92+4. Charge consumers predelivery inspection (PD I) fees.
8993 B. A dealer shall indemnify a warrantor for any money paid or
9094 costs incurred by a warrantor in connection with a claim or cause of
9195 action asserted agains t the warrantor to the ext ent that payment or
9296 costs incurred are based on the negligence or intenti onal misconduct
9397 of the dealer. A dealer shall not limit the obligation to indemnify
9498 described in this subsection by agreement with the warrantor. The
9599 warrantor shall provide a deale r with a copy of any claim or
96100 complaint in which an allegation described in this subsection is
97101 made within ten (10) days after receiving the claim or complaint.
98102 SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2022.
