COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE
An Act relating to public utilities; requiring
submission of certain plans; requiring submission of
certain plans and compliance before rate increase
shall become effective; providing for codification;
and providing an effective date .
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 157.1 of Title 17, unless there
is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
A. Public utilities subject to regulation by the Oklahoma
Corporation Commission shall submit annual Emergency Update Plans
and Maintenance Plans to the Commission.
B. Before a requested rate increase shall become effective ,
public utilities shall submit the annual plans listed in subsection
A of this section and shall have been in compli ance with the
Commission for five (5) years.

SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2022.
