HOUSE BILL NO. 3566 By: McBride of the House

Allen of the Senate
An Act relating to public utilities; requiring
submission of certain plans; requiring submission of
certain plans and compliance before rate increase
shall become effective; providing for codification;
and providing an effective date .
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 158.71 of Title 17, unless there
is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
Public utilities subject to regulation by the Corporation
Commission shall submit annual emergency update plans and
maintenance plans for the following calendar year to the Commission
no later than December 1 each calendar year. Public utilities shall
have an annual emergency update plan and maintenance plan on file
with the Commission for any given calendar year prior to a requested
and approved rate increase becoming effective in that year.

SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2022.
