BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA: SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 1200 of Title 60, unless there is created a duplication in n umbering, reads as follows: All residential developers c onstructing private roads for residential development s shall either: 1. Construct roads to the current applicable code or regulation of the incorporated municipality that t he development is located o r the county if the development is located in an unincorporated location. 2. Construct roads to a lesser standard than the applicable code or regulation for a pu blic road, however, residential developers and any subsequent seller s must disclose that fact to Req. Furthermore, developers or subsequent sellers must obtain surety bond insurance guaranteeing future road maintenance or payment for future road maintenance if the road requires maintenance due the sub-standard construction .
