40	49		An Act relating to notaries; requiring the Secretary
41	50		of State to create a digital loggin g system; setting
42	51		a timeline for implementation of system; authorizing
43	52		Secretary of State to promulgate rules; requiring
44	53		certain fees; designating fund for fees; providing
45	54		for codification; and providing an effec tive date.

50	59		BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
51	60		SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
52	61		in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 301 of Title 49, unless there is
53	62		created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
54	63		A. The Secretary of State shall create a digital logging system
55	64		for use by notaries public. The Secretary of State shall create the
56		-	system by November 1, 2022 , and shall implement the use of the
	65	+	system by November 1, 2022 and shall implement the use of the
57	66		digital logging system o n or before November 1, 2023.
58		-	B. The Secretary of State shall promulgate rules and
59		-	regulations to create and administer the digital logging system
60		-	provided for in subsection A of this section . The rules shall
61		-	include a fee schedule for the use of the digital logging system.

	94	+	B. The Secretary of State shall promulgate rules and
	95	+	regulations to create and administer the digital logging system
	96	+	provided for in subsection A of this section . The rules shall
	97	+	include a fee schedule for the use of the digital logging system.
88	98		All fees collected shall be deposited in the Revolving Fund for the
89	99		Office of the Secretary of State.
90	100		SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2022.
