AS INTRODUCED
An Act relating to the State Department of Health;
granting authority to make certain administrative
courts; promulgating rules; providing for
codification; and providing an effective date .
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 1-109A of Title 63, unless there
is created a duplication in numbering, rea ds as follows:
The State Department of Health shall be permitted to create an
administrative court and a ppeals process for the purpose of
adjudicating complaints against hospitals in this state. The
Department shall be authorized to promulgate rul es and regulations
regarding the administrative court.
SECTION 2. This act shall become effe ctive November 1, 2022.
