43	40		An Act relating to schools; amending 70 O.S. 2021,

46	43		an educator supply-and-demand study; listing shortage

53	50		BE IT ENACTED BY THE P EOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
54	51		SECTION 1. AMENDATORY 7 0 O.S. 2021, Section 6 -211, is
55	52		amended to read as follows:
56	53		Section 6-211. The Beginning November 1, 2022, and every
57	54		November 1 thereafter, the State Board of Education in coop eration
58	55		with the Commission for Educational Qua lity and Accountability, the
59	56		Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education and institutions of
60	57		higher education shall conduct an educator supply-and-demand study
61	58		every three (3) years . The study shall identify areas of teacher
62	59		shortage by region, county, sc hool districts, and academic subject
63	60		areas and make recommendations for addressing the areas of most
64	61		critical need. The Board shall submit a report annually outlining
