53 | 50 | BE IT ENACTED BY THE P EOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA: | |
54 | 51 | SECTION 1. AMENDATORY 7 0 O.S. 2021, Section 6 -211, is | |
55 | 52 | amended to read as follows: | |
56 | 53 | Section 6-211. The Beginning November 1, 2022, and every | |
57 | 54 | November 1 thereafter, the State Board of Education in coop eration | |
58 | 55 | with the Commission for Educational Qua lity and Accountability, the | |
59 | 56 | Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education and institutions of | |
60 | 57 | higher education shall conduct an educator supply-and-demand study | |
61 | 58 | every three (3) years . The study shall identify areas of teacher | |
62 | 59 | shortage by region, county, sc hool districts, and academic subject | |
63 | 60 | areas and make recommendations for addressing the areas of most | |
64 | 61 | critical need. The Board shall submit a report annually outlining | |
