59 | 52 | BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA: | |
60 | 53 | SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified | |
61 | 54 | in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 27 of Title 73, unless there is | |
62 | 55 | created a duplication in numbering, reads as foll ows: | |
63 | 56 | A. The Office of Management and Enterprise Services (OMES) | |
64 | 57 | shall promulgate rules for a flag flying program enabling the people | |
65 | 58 | of Oklahoma to request for a flag or flags to be flown at the | |
66 | 59 | Oklahoma State Capitol building on specific days for commemo rative | |
67 | 60 | purposes. Such flags shall be flown at the State Capitol based on | |
61 | + | availability and in conformity with the rules established by OMES on | |
62 | + | a first-come, first-served basis; provided, that the person | |
63 | + | requesting the flag completes all necessary forms and pays all | |

104 | 96 | and time flag was flown. An additional fee of Twenty-five dollars | |
105 | 97 | ($25.00) per flag flown shall be charged an d deposited into the | |
106 | 98 | Capitol Preservation Fund. | |
107 | 99 | C. The flags available to be flown over the Oklahoma State | |
108 | 100 | Capitol according to this s ection shall be: | |
109 | 101 | 1. The current flag of the State of Oklahoma ; | |
110 | 102 | 2. The current flag of the United States; | |
111 | 103 | 3. The original (Star & 46) flag of the State of Oklahoma ; | |
112 | 104 | 4. The original 13 Stars and Stripes flag of the United States | |
113 | 105 | also known as the Betsy R oss flag; | |
114 | 106 | 5. The “An Appeal to Heaven” flag flown by General George | |
115 | 107 | Washington; | |
116 | 108 | 6. The Gadsden flag also known as th e “Don’t Tread On Me” flag; | |
117 | 109 | 7. The POW/MIA flag; | |
118 | 110 | 8. The National Guard flag; and | |
111 | + | 9. Any official flag for any branch of the United State s Armed | |
