65	65	An Act relating to schools; directing a member of a
66	66	board of education of a scho ol district or technology
67	67	center school district to be removed from office if
68	68	he or she votes in favor of certain violation;
69	69	providing for filling of vacancy; prohibiting member
70	70	subject to certain provisi ons from serving in certain
71	71	position for certain period of time; providing for
72	72	codification; providing an effective date; and

79	79	BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
80	80	SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
81	81	in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 5-107C of Title 70, unless there
82	82	is created a duplication in numb ering, reads as follows:
83	83	Upon the effective date o f this act, if a member or prospective
84	84	member of a school district board of education or a technology
85	85	center school district board of education has voted or votes in
86	86	favor of knowingly violating any state law relevant to public
87	87	education or within Title 70 of the Oklahoma Statutes, the member or
88	88	prospective member shall not be qualified to serve in the position .

141	141	district board of education shall declare the seat of th e member
142	142	vacant, and the vacancy shall be filled as provided for in Section
143	143	13A-110 of Title 26 of the Oklahoma Statutes. The member or
144	144	prospective member shall be prohibited from serving in any role,
145	145	paid or unpaid, for public schools in this state for a period of
146	146	five (5) years.
147	147	SECTION 2. This act shall become effective July 1, 2022.
148	148	SECTION 3. It being immediately necessary for the preservation
149	149	of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby
150	150	declared to exist, by reason whereof this act shall take effect and
151	151	be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
