AS INTRODUCED 
 
An Act relating to schools; directing a member of a 
board of education of a scho ol district or technology 
center school district to be removed from office if 
he or she votes in favor of certain violation; 
providing for filling of vacancy; prohibiting member 
subject to certain provisi ons from serving in certain 
position for certain period of time; providing for 
codification; providing an effective date; and 
declaring an emergency . 
 
 
 
 
 
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA: 
SECTION 1.     NEW LAW     A new section of law to be codified 
in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 5-107C of Title 70, unless there 
is created a duplication in numb ering, reads as follows: 
Upon the effective date o f this act, if a member or prospective 
member of a school district board of education or a technology 
center school district board of education has voted or votes in 
favor of knowingly violating any state law relevant to public 
education or within Title 70 of the Oklahoma Statutes, the member or 
prospective member shall not be qualified to serve in the position .

district board of education shall declare the seat of th e member 
vacant, and the vacancy shall be filled as provided for in Section 
13A-110 of Title 26 of the Oklahoma Statutes.  The member or 
prospective member shall be prohibited from serving in any role, 
paid or unpaid, for public schools in this state for a period of 
five (5) years. 
SECTION 2.  This act shall become effective July 1, 2022. 
SECTION 3.  It being immediately necessary for the preservation 
of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby 
declared to exist, by reason whereof this act shall take effect and 
be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
