SENATE BILL NO. 1244 By: Quinn of the Senate
and
Sneed of the House
An Act relating to health benefit plans; establishing
provisions for incorporating certain coverage into
certain health benefit plans; providing for
codification; and providing an effective date .
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 124 of Title 36, unless there is
created a duplication in numb ering, reads as follows:
On or after the effective date of this act, any new m easure
enacted relating to a health benefit plan shall be incorporated into
any health benefit plan that is issued or renewed on or after the
effective date of the me asure unless specifically provided for
otherwise.
SECTION 2. This act shall become effective Nove mber 1, 2022.
