65	65	An Act relating to municipalities; providing
66	66	definition; directing certain restrooms and changing
67	67	facilities to be designated in certai n manner;
68	68	requiring individuals to use the restroom or changing
69	69	facility that corresponds with his or her biological
70	70	sex; prohibiting municipalities from adopting certai n
71	71	ordinance; providing for codificati on; providing an
72	72	effective date; and declaring an emergency.

77	77	BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
78	78	SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
79	79	in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 13-117 of Title 11, unless there
80	80	is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
81	81	A. As used in this section, “biological sex” means the physical
82	82	condition of being male or female, as identified at birth by that
83	83	individual’s anatomy.
84	84	B. Public restrooms and changing facilities that are intended
85	85	to accommodate multiple individuals shall be designated as follows:
86	86	1. For the exclusive use o f the male sex; or
87	87	2. For the exclusive use of the female sex.

139	139	C. A person shall use the public restroom or changing facility
140	140	that corresponds to the individual’s biological sex.
141	141	D. Municipalities shall not adopt an ordinance contrary to the
142	142	provisions of this section.
143	143	SECTION 2. This act shall become effective July 1, 2022.
144	144	SECTION 3. It being immediately necessary for the preservation
145	145	of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby
146	146	declared to exist, by reason whereof this act shall ta ke effect and
147	147	be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
