75	75	BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA :
76	76	SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
77	77	in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 1160 of Title 59, unless there
78	78	is created a duplication in numb ering, reads as follows:
79	79	A. For the purposes of this section:
80	80	1. “Casualty insurance” means insurance as defined pursuant to
81	81	Section 707 of Title 36 of the Oklahoma Statutes ;
82	82	2. “Property insurance” means insurance as defined pursuant to
83	83	Section 704 of Title 36 of the Oklahoma Statutes ; and
84	84	3. “Roofing contractor” means a roofing contractor as defined
85	85	pursuant to paragraph 18 of Section 1151.2 of Title 59 of the
86	86	Oklahoma Statutes.

138	138	B. Any roofing contract or providing services including but not
139	139	limited to repair or improvement services to be paid from the
140	140	proceeds of a property or casualty insurance pol icy shall not file
141	141	an insurance claim on behalf of the insured without express written
142	142	permission from the in sured. Property and casualty insurance
143	143	providers shall not accept claims from any other entity or person
144	144	other than the insured for services under this subsection without
145	145	express written permission from the insured permitting the
146	146	submission of the claim .
147	147	SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2022.
