BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA : SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 1160 of Title 59, unless there is created a duplication in numb ering, reads as follows: A. For the purposes of this section: 1. “Casualty insurance” means insurance as defined pursuant to Section 707 of Title 36 of the Oklahoma Statutes ; 2. “Property insurance” means insurance as defined pursuant to Section 704 of Title 36 of the Oklahoma Statutes ; and 3. “Roofing contractor” means a roofing contractor as defined pursuant to paragraph 18 of Section 1151.2 of Title 59 of the Oklahoma Statutes. Any roofing contract or providing services including but not limited to repair or improvement services to be paid from the proceeds of a property or casualty insurance pol icy shall not file an insurance claim on behalf of the insured without express written permission from the in sured. Property and casualty insurance providers shall not accept claims from any other entity or person other than the insured for services under this subsection without express written permission from the insured permitting the submission of the claim .
