66	66	requiring Oklahoma Health Care Authorit y to provide

77	77	BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
78	78	SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
79	79	in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 5025.1 of Title 63, unless there
80	80	is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
81	81	A. Subject to availability of funding, the Oklahoma Health Care
82	82	Authority shall reimburse providers under the state Medicaid program
83	83	for screening of children and adults for adverse childhood
84	84	experiences (ACEs).
85	85	B. If appropriate based on the ACE score, the provider shall
86	86	refer the individual for appropriate services which may include but
87	87	shall not be limited to counseling or other treatment.

139	139	C. 1. The Authority shall seek any federal approval nece ssary
140	140	to implement this section.
141	141	2. The Oklahoma Health Care Authority Board shall promulgate
142	142	rules to implement the provisions of this section.
143	143	SECTION 2. This act shall become effective July 1, 2022.
144	144	SECTION 3. It being immediately necessary for the preser vation
145	145	of the public peace, health or safety, an e mergency is hereby
146	146	declared to exist, by reason whereof this act shall take effect and
147	147	be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
