BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA: SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 5025.1 of Title 63, unless there is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows: A. Subject to availability of funding, the Oklahoma Health Care Authority shall reimburse providers under the state Medicaid program for screening of children and adults for adverse childhood experiences (ACEs). B. If appropriate based on the ACE score, the provider shall refer the individual for appropriate services which may include but shall not be limited to counseling or other treatment. Req. The Authority shall seek any federal approval nece ssary to implement this section. 2. The Oklahoma Health Care Authority Board shall promulgate rules to implement the provisions of this section. SECTION 2. This act shall become effective July 1, 2022. SECTION 3.
