5548 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
5649 SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law t o be codified
5750 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 3-120.1 of Title 26, unless
5851 there is created a duplication i n numbering, reads as follows:
5952 A. For elections to be held after July 1, 2022, any state
6053 agency, board, or commission that owns or leas es a facility located
6154 in or near a precinct without a suitable polling place available,
6255 shall make space within the facil ity available for use as a polling
6356 place upon the written request of the secretary of the coun ty
6457 election board.
58+B. For elections to be held after July 1, 2022, any political
59+subdivision of this state that held an election that was conducted
60+by a county election board on or after January 1, 2018, and that
61+owns, rents, or leases a facility l ocated in or near a precinct

92-B. For elections to be held after July 1, 2022, any political
93-subdivision of this state that held an election that was conducted
94-by a county election board on or after January 1, 2018, and that
95-owns, rents, or leases a facility l ocated in or near a precinct
9688 without a suitable polling place available, shall make space within
9789 the facility available for use as a polling place upon the written
9890 request of the secretary of the county election board.
9991 C. For facilities described in subs ection A or B of this
10092 section, a reasonable maintenance or cleaning fee may be c harged to
10193 the county election board for use of the facility as a polling
10294 place.
10395 SECTION 2. This act shall become effective July 1, 2022.
10496 SECTION 3. It being immediat ely necessary for th e preservation
10597 of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby
10698 declared to exist, by reason whereof thi s act shall take effect and
10799 be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
