55	48		BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
56	49		SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law t o be codified
57	50		in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 3-120.1 of Title 26, unless
58	51		there is created a duplication i n numbering, reads as follows:
59	52		A. For elections to be held after July 1, 2022, any state
60	53		agency, board, or commission that owns or leas es a facility located
61	54		in or near a precinct without a suitable polling place available,
62	55		shall make space within the facil ity available for use as a polling
63	56		place upon the written request of the secretary of the coun ty
64	57		election board.
	58	+	B. For elections to be held after July 1, 2022, any political
	59	+	subdivision of this state that held an election that was conducted
	60	+	by a county election board on or after January 1, 2018, and that
	61	+	owns, rents, or leases a facility l ocated in or near a precinct

92		-	B. For elections to be held after July 1, 2022, any political
93		-	subdivision of this state that held an election that was conducted
94		-	by a county election board on or after January 1, 2018, and that
95		-	owns, rents, or leases a facility l ocated in or near a precinct
96	88		without a suitable polling place available, shall make space within
97	89		the facility available for use as a polling place upon the written
98	90		request of the secretary of the county election board.
99	91		C. For facilities described in subs ection A or B of this
100	92		section, a reasonable maintenance or cleaning fee may be c harged to
101	93		the county election board for use of the facility as a polling
102	94		place.
103	95		SECTION 2. This act shall become effective July 1, 2022.
104	96		SECTION 3. It being immediat ely necessary for th e preservation
105	97		of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby
106	98		declared to exist, by reason whereof thi s act shall take effect and
107	99		be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
