2555 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:

2756 SECTION 1. AMENDATORY 14 O.S. 2021, Se ction 80.8, is
2857 amended to read as follows:

3058 Section 80.8. To file as a candidate for the State Senate in
3159 any senatorial district, a person must have been a registered voter
3260 in the district and a resident residing within such district for the
3361 six-month period immediately preceding the first day of the fil ing
3462 period as provided by law. Provided, however, to file as a
3563 candidate for the Senate in any Senate district in 2022, a person
3664 must have been a registered voter and a resident residing in such
3765 district no later than December 31, 2021. Any member of the Senate
