5548 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF TH E STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
5649 SECTION 1. AMENDATORY 63 O.S. 2011, Section 1-1002.2, is
5750 amended to read as follows:
5851 Section 1-1002.2. The State Board of Health shall promulgate
5952 rules establishing re quirements for retailers of bunk beds which
6053 shall include, but not be limited to, requirements that Retailers of
6154 bunk beds shall comply with the following re quirements:
6255 1. Each set of bunk beds must be posted with an indelible
6356 warning which conforms with American Society for Testing and
6457 Materials Voluntary Sta ndards or U.S. Consumer Product Safety
6558 Commission Standards; and
59+2. No retailer shall sell a set of bunk beds which does not
60+limit the space between the lower edge of the guard rail and the

93-2. No retailer shall sell a set of bunk beds which does not
94-limit the space between the lower edge of the guard rail and the
9587 upper edge of the bed frame of the upper b unk bed to three and on e-
9688 half (3 1/2) inches or less.
9789 SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2021.
