Strike the title, enacting clause, and entire bill and insert: "[ motor license agents – renewals - fee - emergency ] BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA: SECTION 1. AMENDATORY 47 O.S. 2021, Section 1132A, is amended to read as follows: Section 1132A. A. In any online syste m which provides a service that a motor license ag ent is authorized to provide pursuant to the Oklahoma Vehicle License and Registration Act there shall ENGR. H. A. to ENGR. S. Said The motor license agent, as defined in Section 1102 of this title, does not include the Oklahoma Tax Commission. Any motor license agent fees collected by a state agency shall be deposited into the General Revenue Fund. B. Motor Upon the effective date of this act through May 31, 2023, motor license agents selected as provided in subsection A of this section shall receive all fees provided by the Oklahoma Vehicle License and Registration Act ; provided, the amount of fees remitted to the motor license agent for each online transaction processed by the motor license agent through any online system shall be reduced by One Dollar and fifty -six cents ($1.56). C. The selection step required pursuant to subsection A of this section shall be installed and operational no later than January 1, 2021. SECTION 2. It being immediately necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby declared to exist, by reason whereof this act shall take effect and be in full force from and after its pas sage and approval."
