7575 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
7676 SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
7777 in the Oklahoma Stat utes as Section 3120 of Title 74, unless there
7878 is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
7979 A. Every state agency of this state shall disclose the federal
8080 and/or state authority for any part of the agency operations as
8181 requested pursuant to th is section.
8282 B. During each regular session of the Legislature, any member
8383 may request, by proper passa ge of a resolution introduced by either
8484 the Senate or the House of Representatives, a statement of lega l
8585 authority for a specific facet of operations of the agency, as
8686 specified in the resolution. The legal authority shall include
8787 reference to any constit utional provision, statute, and/or rule and

139139 regulation. The resolution shall direct delivery to the ag ency and
140140 its director or listed head of agency. T he director or head of
141141 agency shall have ten (10) days upon receipt, unless extended by
142142 request, in which to deliver by regular mail or in electronic format
143143 the applicable legal authority as specified in th e resolution. The
144144 delivery shall be made to the a uthor or authors of the resolution.
145145 C. Any director or head of agency that does not submit a
146146 response pursuant to this section may be subject to removal.
147147 SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2022.
