BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA: SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified in the Oklahoma Stat utes as Section 3120 of Title 74, unless there is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows: A. Every state agency of this state shall disclose the federal and/or state authority for any part of the agency operations as requested pursuant to th is section. B. During each regular session of the Legislature, any member may request, by proper passa ge of a resolution introduced by either the Senate or the House of Representatives, a statement of lega l authority for a specific facet of operations of the agency, as specified in the resolution. The legal authority shall include reference to any constit utional provision, statute, and/or rule and Req. The resolution shall direct delivery to the ag ency and its director or listed head of agency. T he director or head of agency shall have ten (10) days upon receipt, unless extended by request, in which to deliver by regular mail or in electronic format the applicable legal authority as specified in th e resolution. The delivery shall be made to the a uthor or authors of the resolution. C. Any director or head of agency that does not submit a response pursuant to this section may be subject to removal.
