77	77	BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
78	78	SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law not to be
79	79	codified in the Oklahoma Statutes reads as follows:
80	80	This act shall be known and cited as th e "Constitutional
81	81	Heritage and Legacy Display Act ".
82	82	SECTION 2. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
83	83	in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 230 of Title 61, unless there is
84	84	created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
85	85	A. If funds under subsection C of this section ar e available,
86	86	local school superintendents of the public schools in this state and
87	87	the administrative officials of state agencies shall place a durable
88	88	poster or framed image representing:

140	140	1. The national motto of the United States, "In God We Trust";
141	141	2. An accurate representation of the United States flag, which
142	142	shall be centered under the national motto;
143	143	3. An accurate representation of the Oklahoma state flag;
144	144	4. The United States Declaration of Indepe ndence;
145	145	5. The United States Bill of Rights; and
146	146	6. The Constitution of the U nited States.
147	147	B. These items shall be displayed in each:
148	148	1. Public elementary and secondary school library and classroom
149	149	in this state; and
150	150	2. Public building or facility in this state that is maintained
151	151	or operated by state funds.
152	152	C. The items and ima ges authorized under this section shall
153	153	either be donated or shall be purchased solely with funds made
154	154	available through voluntary contributions to state agencies, local
155	155	schools, or local school boards. The items and images au thorized
156	156	under this section m ay be displayed as they are donated or
157	157	purchased.
158	158	SECTION 3. This act shall become effective November 1, 2022.
