Key Correctional Facility Multi-County Feasibility Commission - noncodification - effective date ] BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA: SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law not to be codified in the Oklahoma Statutes reads as follows: A. There is hereby established the Willi am S. Key Multi-County Feasibility Commission until December 31, 2023. B. The Commission shall be composed of seventeen (17) members as follows: 1. One person represent ing the Oklahoma Historical Society; 2. The current elected State Senator for Senate District 27, or designee; 3. Three members who shall be the elected County Commissioners for Woodward County, or designees; 5. One member who shall be the Woodwa rd County Sheriff, or designee; 6. One member who shall r epresent the Woodward Ind ustrial Foundation; 7. One member who shall represen t the Woodward Chamber of Commerce; 8. One member chosen by the elected State Senator for Senate District 27 from Beaver County, Cimarron County, Dewey County , and Ellis County; and 9. One member chose n by the elected Representative for House of Representatives District 61 from Harper County, Major County, Texas County, and Woods County. C. The members of the Commission shall elect a chair and vice chair from among the members of the Commission at the first meeting of the Commission. D. The Commission shall hold its first meeting not late r than ninety (90) days after effective date of this act. E. The Commission is auth orized to meet as often as required to perform the duties imposed upon it. F. The Commission shall study the feasibility of creating a multi-county trust to oversee the ex change of the state-owned William S. The Commission shall develop recommendations for utilizing th e existing facility to facilitate job stability, economic growth, and business and industry recruitment in the area. G. Members of the Commission shall not receive reimbursement for any travel related to the meeting s of the Commission. SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2022.
