AS INTRODUCED
An Act relating to county officers; amending 19 O.S.
2021, Section 180.63e, which rela tes to salaries of
county officers; directing county officers to receive
salary increases or decreas es during their term of
office; and providing an effective date .
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
SECTION 1. AMENDATORY 19 O.S. 2021, Section 180. 63e, is
amended to read as follows:
Section 180.63e. County officers shall not receive any salary
increase or decrease during their term of office unless by operation
of law enacted prior to or during their election or appointment .
SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2022.
