65	65	An Act relating to livestock products; allowing all
66	66	beef, bison, pork, chi cken processed in a state
67	67	inspected facility to be sold in Oklahoma without
68	68	USDA approval; requiring all livestock products to be
69	69	delivered and handled consistent with state law;
70	70	requiring USDA approval for out-of-state sales;
71	71	requiring certain labeling; requiring the Department
72	72	to promulgate rules; provi ding for codification; and

79	79	BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
80	80	SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new sect ion of law to be codified
81	81	in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 6-220 of Title 2, unless there
82	82	is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
83	83	A. Any beef, bison, pork, or chicken which is processed by a
84	84	state inspected facil ity, and sold within the bor ders of this state,
85	85	may be sold to any restaurant, store, market, or one -on-one sales
86	86	without the United Sta tes Department of Agriculture (USDA ) approval
87	87	as long as the beef, bison, pork, or chicken has passed all state
88	88	inspection requirements in state law.

140	140	B. All beef, bison, pork, or chicken shall be delivered and
141	141	handled in a manner con sistent with state law and the rules of the
142	142	Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food, and Forestry.
143	143	C. All beef, bison, pork, or chicken sold and transported out
144	144	of the state shall be inspected and cleared for safety and
145	145	transportation by a USDA inspector.
146	146	D. All beef, bison, pork, or chicken processed, inspected, and
147	147	sold in this state shall be labeled “For Intrastate Use Only” and be
148	148	labeled as either “Oklahoma Beef”, “Oklahoma Bison”, Oklahoma Pork”,
149	149	or “Oklahoma Chicken”.
150	150	SECTION 2. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified
151	151	in the Oklahoma Statutes as Sect ion 6-221 of Title 2, unless there
152	152	is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
153	153	The Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food, and Forestry shall
154	154	promulgate rules to enforce the provisions of this act.
155	155	SECTION 3. This act shall become effective November 1, 2022.
