BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA: SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new sect ion of law to be codified in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 6-220 of Title 2, unless there is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows: A. Any beef, bison, pork, or chicken which is processed by a state inspected facil ity, and sold within the bor ders of this state, may be sold to any restaurant, store, market, or one -on-one sales without the United Sta tes Department of Agriculture (USDA ) approval as long as the beef, bison, pork, or chicken has passed all state inspection requirements in state law. All beef, bison, pork, or chicken shall be delivered and handled in a manner con sistent with state law and the rules of the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food, and Forestry. C. All beef, bison, pork, or chicken sold and transported out of the state shall be inspected and cleared for safety and transportation by a USDA inspector. D. All beef, bison, pork, or chicken processed, inspected, and sold in this state shall be labeled “For Intrastate Use Only” and be labeled as either “Oklahoma Beef”, “Oklahoma Bison”, Oklahoma Pork”, or “Oklahoma Chicken”. SECTION 2. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified in the Oklahoma Statutes as Sect ion 6-221 of Title 2, unless there is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows: The Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food, and Forestry shall promulgate rules to enforce the provisions of this act.
