3461 BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:

3662 SECTION 1. NEW LAW A ne w section of law to be codified
3763 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 27 -105 of Title 70, unless there
3864 is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:

4065 A. Notwithstanding any policy of a school athletic association,
4166 as defined by Section 27 -102 of Title 70 of the Oklahoma Statutes,
4267 in all regular season high school athletic competitions in this
4368 state, the visiting team shall have the same rights to radio

4496 broadcast, video stream and provide telegraphic play -by-play
4597 accounts as the home team as long as the visiting team has either:

4998 1. A valid agreement to broadcast, video stream and/or provide
5099 telegraphic play-by-play accounts between a media organization and
51100 the school’s board of education; or

53101 2. The visiting team has a curricular program for student s that
54102 typically provides streaming for the team ’s home games.

56103 B. The provisions of this section shall apply to athletic
57104 competitions beginning in the 2021 -2022 school year.

59105 C. The provisions of this section shall apply to contracts for
60106 the rights to radio broadcast, video stream and provide telegraphic
61107 play-by-play accounts entered into or renewed on or after the
62108 effective date of this act.

64109 SECTION 2. This act shall become effective July 1, 2021.

66110 SECTION 3. It being immediately necessary for the preservation
67111 of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby
68112 declared to exist, by reason whereof this act shall take effect and
69113 be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
