AS INTRODUCED 
 
An Act relating to school support personnel; 
providing an increase in compensa tion for school 
support employees over certain time period; 
preventing decrease or increase of hours by school 
district; providing for codification; providing an 
effective date; and declaring an emergency . 
 
 
 
 
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STA TE OF OKLAHOMA: 
SECTION 1.     NEW LAW    A new section of law to be codified 
in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 18 -114.15 of Title 70, unless 
there is created a duplication in numbering, reads as fol lows: 
A.  Beginning with the 2021-2022 school year, all school support 
personnel shall receive a one-time pay increase equivalent to a One 
Thousand Five Hundred Dollar ($1,500.00) increase in compensation, 
exclusive of any one -time stipend or over -time payments.  This 
amount shall be prorated for part-time support personnel .  For 
purposes of this section, the phrase "support personnel" shall have 
the same meaning as provided in Section 26 -103 of Title 70 of the 
Oklahoma Statutes.

B.  A school district shall not lower the hours of any support 
personnel for the purpose of preventing qualification for or to 
offset the increase in compensation required by this section.  A 
school district shall not require any support personnel to work more 
than the hours required to qualify as full -time support personnel 
under Section 26-103 of Title 70 of the Oklah oma Statutes to be 
eligible for the full amount of the increase in compensation 
required by this section. 
SECTION 2.     NEW LAW     A new sec tion of law to be codified 
in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 18-114.16 of Title 70, unless 
there is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:

Thousand Five Hundred Dollar ($1,500.00) increase in compensation ,

the same meaning as provided in Section 26 -103 of Title 70 of the 
Oklahoma Statutes. 
B.  A school district shall not lower the hours of any support

offset the increase in compensati on required by this section.  A

under Section 26-103 of Title 70 of the Oklahoma Stat utes to be 
eligible for the full amo unt of the increase in compensation 
required by this section.

there is created a duplication in numbering, read s as follows: 
A.  Beginning with the 2023-2024 school year, all school support 
personnel shall receive a one-time pay increase equivalent to a Two 
Thousand Dollar ($2,000.00) increase in compensation, exclusive of 
any one-time stipend or over -time payments.  This amount shall be 
prorated for part-time support personnel.  For purposes of this 
section, the phrase "support personnel" shall have the same meaning 
as provided in Section 26 -103 of Title 70 of the Oklaho ma Statutes. 
B.  A school district shall not lower the hours of a ny support 
personnel for the purpose of preventing qualification for or to 
offset the increase in compensation required by this section.  A 
school district shall not require any support perso nnel to work more 
than the hours required to qualify as full -time support personnel 
under Section 26-103 of Title 70 of the Oklahoma Statutes to be 
eligible for the full amount of the increase in compensation 
required by this section. 
SECTION 4.  This act shall become effect ive July 1, 2021. 
SECTION 5.  It being immediately necessary for the preservation 
of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby

be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
